One of the most common questions we get asked is What fly line should I match to my Epic fly rod? – Well, now you know, it s this one.

Our fly lines are made by the world s most experienced fly line manufacturer – Scientific Anglers. These tapers have been developed exclusively for Epic, but are based upon proven design principles time tested on rivers and lakes worldwide.

Minimising Waste & Kicking Plastic
We re keeping packaging and plastic to a minimum. Our fly lines are packaged in plastic free, 100% biodegradable plant-based bags. We ve done away with the plastic spool in favour of a simple cardboard spool

True to Weight
Each line complies with the American Fly Fishing Trade Association industry standard for its class. These are true and correct fly lines – you get exactly what s written on the tin.

Glassline Weight Forward
Our weight forward lines are designed to turn over larger dry flies, weighted nymphs and streamers. The front taper is slightly more aggressive than our double taper lines. The exact profile of each of WF taper varies according to weight designation, with our six weight line having the most aggressive taper to help turnover big bushy flies and terrestrials.

We reckon these lines are a perfect match for all our Epic fly rods be they Glass or Carbon Fibre, but they will also perform just as well on medium action fly rods from just about any manufacturer.
